Job summary

Cascadia Health is seeking a Mental Health Aide I or II to float across secure residential treatment programs in the Portland metro area. The role involves implementing treatment plans, providing therapeutic interventions, and supporting residents in their daily activities.

Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or equivalent experience, and be credentialed as a Qualified Mental Health Associate. Competitive compensation and various benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Must be credentialed as a Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA).
• Bachelor’s degree in an approved behavioral science field from an accredited college or university, or three years of mental health work experience.
• Basic knowledge of Trauma‑Informed Care (TIC), Motivational Interviewing, and evidence‑based practices.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor treatment plans for residents.
• Provide individual and group‑based therapeutic interventions.
• Administer medications according to provider orders.
