Job summary

UF Health is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support multiple clinics across urgent care, specialty, pediatric and primary care settings. The role will include administrative and clinical tasks under the direct supervision of a licensed physician.

You will need strong communication, multitasking, and computer skills, with a requirement to obtain Medical Assistant certification within 6 months and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must have or obtain Medical Assistant certification within 6 months of hire date
• Current BLS from the American Heart Association
• Graduate from approved Medical Assistant program (education requirement)

Responsibilities

• Assist in administrative and clinical procedures under the direct supervision of a licensed physician
• Float to multiple clinics including Urgent Care, Specialty, Pediatric and Primary Care
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff
