Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited vocational institution or community college in Medical Assisting.
• Current AAMA, NHA, AMT, NCCT, or NREMT certification preferred.
• One year of experience as a Medical Assistant or 6 months as a certified Medical Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and administrative support in a team-based environment.
• Promote a smooth flow of patients through the office.
• Function under the license of the physician/advanced practice practitioner.
