Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for full-time support across urgent care clinics in Daytona, Deland, Orange City, Ormond Beach, Port Orange, and nearby areas. The role offers 40 hours weekly with Day-Weekend shifts and mileage assistance.

You will ensure patient safety, assist with exams, administer medications, document care, and follow PPE and safety protocols while upholding AdventHealth’s values.

Qualifications

• This role can consider either an LPN or a Certified Medical Assistant.
• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
• Technical/Vocational School [Required]
• 1+ in practice setting [Preferred]
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

Responsibilities

• Observe and record patients’ conditions and reactions to medications and treatments.
• Prepare exam rooms, restock treatment areas and disinfect surfaces.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to official policy and procedures.
• Documents medications, treatments, and labs in patient charts promptly and accurately.
