Leaf Home is seeking a Floating Installation Manager to assist in day-to-day operations of the region's Installation department. You will schedule jobs with homeowners and subcontractors, train crews, and drive efficiency across field teams.

The role requires travel 2–4 weeks per month, strong leadership and communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. A valid driver7s license and a hands-on, fast-paced work style are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Track record of recruiting, training, coaching subcontractors.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Position Summary:

The Floating Installation Manager is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of a region’s Installation department.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Schedule jobs with homeowners and subcontractors to maximize efficiency
• Ensure jobs are installed daily to improve location attainment and effectiveness
• Train, coach and develop installation subcontractors both in the office and in the field
• Improve subcontractor retention rates through impactful training and engagement
• Responsible for driving proficiency and efficiency amongst installation subcontractors
• Works with the Field Trainer on individual performance, abilities, and capacities of the installers
• Partner with leadership on identifying systemic training gaps and propose solutions to address gap
• Recruit subcontractors as needed
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Must be comfortable ascending and descending ladders of varying heights to perform services.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Experience And Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Track record of successfully recruiting, training, coaching, onboarding subcontractors
• Must have proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities
• Able to travel 2-4 weeks out of the month to various offices in the region
• Ability to teach others through hands‑on and documentation‑based learning methods Ability to juggle various work activities and shift their attention from one task to another to meet the demands of different stakeholders without “dropping the ball”.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑energy, team‑oriented environment and have a “roll up your sleeves” and “today not tomorrow” mentality.
• Apply active listening skills through the ability to comprehend information presented and respond thoughtfully.
• Detail‑oriented and can focus on the task at hand, no matter how minute, by finding the most efficient and effective pathway to completion.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for communicating with internal and external parties in a manner that is both articulate and professional.
• Ability to logically connect ideas, scrutinize and evaluate arguments, find inconsistencies and errors in work, solve complex problems, and engage in reflection.
• Ability to provide timely and empathetic help through in‑person, phone, email, and social media avenues that keeps the co‑worker or customer’s needs at the forefront of every interaction.
• Ability to communicate effectively, to recognize, understand, and manage one’s own emotions as well as others, and foster positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Holding oneself responsible and being self‑driven in accomplishing business goals, adhering to policies and being responsible for one’s own actions, performance, and decisions.
• Familiarity and comfort using ladders of various heights.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access).
• Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Or Certifications

• Prior experience in gutter and gutter protection system installation

Travel Requirements

• More than 50% domestic travel required.
