Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health seeks a Multi-Modality Technologist 2 for the Hampton Roads Shared Services pool. The role performs two imaging modalities (XR, CT, MRI) and supports five facilities, with travel between sites as staffing needs change.

The incumbent will ensure accurate imaging, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards. Required ARRT/RDMS/CNMT certifications, competency in at least two modalities, and CE/education requirements with on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from ARRT- accredited institute or approved Nuclear Medicine/Ultrasound program (preferred)
• Certification with ARRT/RDMS/CNMT required
• Competence in 2 of the following modalities and certification within 12 months: BD, BS, R, CT, MR, S, N, CV, CI, CS, VI, M, VS, RVT, CNIC
• Active licensure and ongoing CE requirements as mandated by regulatory standards
• Minimum 1 year healthcare experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs duties for any 2 imaging modalities (XR, CT, MRI)
• Operates equipment and maintains workflow knowledge across modalities
• Ensures patient identification and safety per protocols
• Administers medications/contrast as prescribed
• Uses power injector with approved vascular access device
• Maintains thorough documentation of patient history and lab work
• Participates in on-call rotations
• Maintains radiation safety standards
