River Dental Northwest Arkansas is seeking a Floating Dental Assistant to join our team. The role emphasizes close collaboration with doctors and delivering high-quality chairside care to patients. We welcome applicants from students to experienced dental assistants who are excited to grow with us.

You will participate in X-ray procedures, help manage patient records, and contribute to a friendly, patient-centric practice environment with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Ideal Dental Assistant is comfortable being shoulder-to-shoulder with doctors and delivers exceptional chairside care.

Responsibilities

• Expose dental diagnostic X-Ray.
• Record treatment information in patient records
• Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients.
• Clean teeth, using dental instruments including cleaning and polishing removable appliances.
• Apply a protective coating of fluoride to teeth.
• Fabricate temporary restorations and custom impressions from preliminary impressions.
• Instruct patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs.
• Pour, trim, and polish study casts.
