Candidates should have 3+ years in multifamily housing, be familiar with WA/OR landlord-tenant laws, and adept with Yardi/On-Site systems.

Pay Range: $35 - $37 per hour

Schedule: Full-time; Monday - Friday. Hybrid schedule with three days working in office and two days working remotely.

Job Responsibilities
  • Resident & Property Support
    • Provides administrative and operational support to Community Managers, Regional Management, and other property teams as needed.
    • Serves as a resource for onsite teams by assisting with resident, accounting, and administrative questions and tasks.
    • Assists with resident communications, including preparation and distribution of required notices and other resident correspondence.
    • Reviews resident and property information for accuracy and identifies discrepancies or items requiring follow-up.
    • Supports the processing and tracking of resident notices, move-outs, lease-related documentation, and other resident account activity.
    • Maintains confidentiality and handles sensitive resident, financial, and company information appropriately.
  • Accounting & Financial Support
    • Assists with Accounts Payable processes, including reviewing, coding, entering, and processing invoices for payment.
    • Assists with month-end financial procedures, including preparing and reviewing variance notes, preliminary financials, and supporting documentation.
    • Reviews property financial reports and assists with identifying discrepancies, missing information, and unusual activity.
    • Reviews accounts receivable information and assists with identifying outstanding balances or items requiring follow-up.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Support
    • Maintains a strong working knowledge of Washington and Oregon landlord-tenant laws and regulations.
    • Assists property teams with understanding and following applicable state and local housing regulations and company policies.
    • Prepares and reviews resident notices and other communications for accuracy and compliance with local requirements.
  • Administrative
    • Updates required reports and tracking tools and provides accurate information to property teams and leadership.
    • Organizes and files applicable reports, invoices, resident documentation, financial records, and other paperwork.
    • Assists with audits, reporting requests, and other administrative projects as assigned.
    • Assists with data entry and updates to Yardi, On-Site, and other company systems.
  • General
    • Performs any additional duties assigned by direct manager or the Regional Manager/Director of the property being supported.
    • Supports multiple properties and teams as needed and adjusts priorities based on business needs.
    • May occasionally be required to report to different Thrive office or property locations for meetings, training, or other business needs.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in multifamily housing or property management.
  • Working knowledge of Washington and Oregon landlord-tenant laws and regulations.
  • Strong understanding of multifamily property management operations, including Accounts Payable, month-end financials, variance notes, preliminary financials, resident notices, and resident account processes.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Yardi/CRM, On-Site, and Tenant Tech.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Accounts Payable experience, including reviewing, coding, entering, and processing invoices.
  • Experience reviewing property financial reports and identifying discrepancies or variances.
  • Experience preparing or reviewing resident notices and other compliance-related documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining strong communication and accountability.
