Job summary

Responsibilities include monitoring patients, educating families, maintaining records, and upholding infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or LPN certificate from an accredited program.
• Current RN or LPN license in the state of practice or compact eligible.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Strong communication, customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and on a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet tools; solid knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous high quality nursing care; monitor patients and respond to changes or emergencies.
• Collaborate with the care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Support procedures clinically including IV access; verify readiness and safety checks; advocate for patients.
• Educate patients and families; deliver discharge instructions and secure physician clearance before discharge.
• Maintain accurate records, vital signs, documentation; audit charts as needed; uphold safety and regulatory standards.
• Assist with supply inventory, ordering equipment readiness and quality program integration.
