Job summary

A Quality Facility Services in Canton, OH seeks a traveling Floater to keep client facilities clean, safe, and welcoming while learning multiple locations. You will travel between sites, about 50 miles per day, and support various teams as you gain a broad range of skills.

No cleaning experience is required — we provide paid training and opportunities to develop leadership. This role offers evening hours and room to grow toward a Supervisor position.

Qualifications

• Have a valid, clean driver's license.
• Have reliable transportation and be comfortable traveling approximately 50 miles per day.
• Be available and flexible during the 5:00 PM–1:00 AM shift.
• Be available to work every other weekend.
• Be dependable and able to work independently.
• Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Be comfortable helping and training new employees on proper cleaning procedures and expectations.
• Be comfortable stepping in and assisting wherever needed.
• Have an interest in learning, growing, and potentially advancing into a leadership role.
• No cleaning experience is required — we provide paid training!

Responsibilities

• Assisting with training and onboarding new employees at assigned facilities.
• Demonstrating proper cleaning procedures and expectations to new team members.
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and common areas.
• Dusting furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Cleaning and polishing surfaces, fixtures, and trim.
• Emptying trash and transporting it to designated disposal areas.
• Cleaning rugs and mats.
• Washing windows, doors, walls, panels, and sills as needed.
• Buffing floors at certain facilities.
• Maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of assigned areas.
• Assisting at different facilities based on staffing needs.
