The role involves crossing coverage from Packager to Setup Operator, maintaining certifications, and adhering to all company policies. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and prior manufacturing experience, preferably with automatic assembly

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ year experience manufacturing environment.
  • Production experience with automatic assembly equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Must earn and maintain certification within one year for all department operations.
  • Cover operations from Packager to Setup Operator.
  • Obey safety, quality policies and rules.
  • Complete all required paperwork promptly.
  • Prioritize activities using sound judgment.
  • Cover colleagues' absences as needed.
  • Certified in and perform SAP/OEE transactions.
  • Perform inspections and file paperwork.
  • Maintain regular, punctual attendance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Must earn and maintain certiication on all department operations within one (1) year of beginning this job. Duties include coverage of operations from Packager to Setup Operator Routinely may be asked to cover high graded jobs Obey all company policies, standards and rules, including but not limited to: -Safety policies and rules (including lockout procedure) -Quality policies and rules Regularly shift from performing one job to performing another job Understand and complete all required paperwork for every job performed in a timely fashion Prioritize activities using sound business decision-making skills Cover other associate's absences as requested/assigned Certified in and perform SAP/OEE transactions Perform inspections and file paperwork Sustain a productive work environment through effective communication with team members Must maintain regular, punctual attendance

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

High school diploma or GED required 1+ year experience working in a manufacturing environment and/or experience working for BD or embecta Production experience with automatic assembly equipment preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Proficient reading, writing and speaking English Basic computer keyboard & navigational skills including Microsoft Office Decision making & problem solving skills (07 Floater, D shift)
