Job summary

PMM Companies is currently looking to fill an on-call General Cleaner. For this position the candidate must be willing to work in different buildings covering different positions.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, disposing of trash, sanitizing surfaces, restocking supplies, operating cleaning equipment, and following safety guidelines. This role requires physical stamina and adaptability to varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming all areas of the facility.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures.
• Empty and dispose of trash and recycling bins regularly.
• Wipe down and sanitize surfaces, such as desks, countertops, and door handles.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and floorscrubbers.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Facilities Manager.
• Assist with setting up and cleaning up after events or meetings.
• Follow established safety protocols and guidelines while performing cleaning tasks.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and hygienestandards.
