Job summary

Union Bank of VT & NH in Vermont is seeking a friendly, proactive full-time Customer Service Associate to handle teller transactions and support branch operations. You will be trained to open accounts and assist customers with a variety of banking needs.

Candidates should be comfortable with cash handling, tech-savvy, and eager to learn. The role requires travel between Fairfax, Jeffersonville, and St. Albans to provide adequate staffing across our Franklin County branches.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Previous banking experience preferred.
• Demonstrated cross-selling skills.
• Mathematical and computer competence.
• Completion of Principles of Banking course.
• Aptitude for keeping up to date with all current services and regulations.

We Are Seeking

A motivated individual for a full-time customer service position in our Franklin County branches. This individual will conduct teller transactions and will be further trained to open accounts and provide other branch office support. Prior banking experience is helpful but not required; we will train the right candidate. This candidate should be technologically adept, possess cash handling experience, deliver outstanding customer service, and have a continuous desire to learn. Qualified candidate would travel between the following branches to provide staffing coverage: Fairfax, Jeffersonville, and St. Albans.

Salary description

$18.75 - $21.00 per hour depending on experience
