Job summary

American Security & Investigations is hiring an Experienced Float Security Officer for the Minneapolis, MN area. This permanent, full-time position offers a wage of $19.50–$22.00 per hour with schedules that vary, including 24–30 hours per week for Float roles.

Position requires 18+ years old, valid driver''s license with a clean record, and the ability to pass a drug screen and background check. Prior security experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• Must be able to speak English.
• Must have a valid driver''s license with a clean driving record.
• A pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required.
• Be able to meet physical requirements including walking and patrolling, climbing stairs, and performing CPR.
• Must have previous security experience.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling buildings, facilities, or work sites.
• Investigating and reporting hazards or suspicious circumstances.
• Securing doors and windows.
• Enforcing rules and regulations.
• Responding to alarms.
