Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year of acute care nursing experience required.
• Education: Associate’s degree in nursing.
• Preferred: critical care experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and update care plans.
• Assist with patient comfort, safety, and daily activities; manage medications and dietary needs.
• Attend rounds with physicians and communicate patient progress to the oncoming shift.
• Manage supplies, inventory, and equipment with accurate documentation.
• Obtain consent forms and supervise staff assignments.
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies and administer appropriate treatment.
• Assess and document pain levels, implement relief strategies, and evaluate outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on pain management and care plans.
• Contribute to QA initiatives and compliance with hospital standards.
