Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Float/Flex Team in Seattle. You will deliver compassionate, high-quality care, remain reliable, and contribute positively to patient well-being.

You will perform assessments, develop and implement care plans, document using the nursing process, and coordinate discharge needs in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• WA RN license upon hire.
• BLS/CPR required; ACLS within 30 days; PALS within 12 months; ENPC within 12 months; TNCC within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Administers, oversees and documents medication administration per orders and policy.
• Assesses patients across physical, psychosocial, cultural and developmental domains and plans care.
• Uses nursing process to document changes and outcomes; prepares patients for discharge and coordinates post-discharge needs.
• Maintains compliance with department/hospital policies, safety and regulatory standards.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and support professional growth.
