Job summary

Novant Health Autumn Hall is seeking a dedicated Float RN to join our care team in Wilmington, NC. You will provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing across multiple clinical areas, adapting to varying patient needs and workflows.

You’ll collaborate with providers and clinical teams to ensure safe, efficient care, perform assessments, administer treatments, and educate patients and families on care plans while maintaining a flexible, professional approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred; active RN license required.
• ACLS, PALS, BAT and DOT certifications are preferred.
• Willingness to float across multiple clinical areas and adapt to changing patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care across assigned clinical areas.
• Perform patient assessments, administer medications and treatments, and monitor patient conditions.
• Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and other clinical activities.
• Float between designated areas based on patient and staffing needs while maintaining flexibility and professionalism.
• Educate patients and families on medications, treatment plans, and follow-up care.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Active RN license in appropriate state
