San Juan Regional Medical Center is seeking a Professional Resource Team RN to deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care across multiple units. The role uses the nursing process to manage dynamic patient needs and supports coverage for the MRN role when needed.

Qualifications

• Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing of New Mexico or compact (multi-state) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Must meet requirements for obtaining and maintaining life support certifications as outlined in the Life Support Certification Policy.

Responsibilities

• Float to all units within SJRMC: Emergency Department, Behavioral Health Unit, Medical Unit, Surgical Unit, Nephrology Unit, Cardiology Unit, Observation Unit, ICU4, ICU3, Rehabilitation Unit, Childbirth Center, Pediatric Unit and Outpatient Nursing Clinic.
• Provide individualized patient care and maintain clinical competency for the unit of practice.
• Provide coverage for MRN role as needed.
• Prioritize patient care based on acuity and ensure safe/effective care continuity.
• Follow policy and procedure, meet licensure requirements and support safety/quality initiatives.
• Demonstrate teamwork and delegate appropriately; participate in department activities.
• Uphold core values and standards of care; act as a role model in patient care.
