Saint Joseph Hospital - Lexington in Lexington, KY is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Float/Flex Team. This role offers up to a $25,000 sign-on bonus and up to $24,000 in student loan assistance, reflecting our commitment to supporting the next generation of caregivers.

You will provide comprehensive patient care, perform skilled assessments, document care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Formación

• Graduation from an approved nursing program.
• Minimum two years RN experience in acute care.
• KY RN license upon hire; BLS CPR at hire; ACLS/PALS per required timelines.

• Conducts care assessments and interprets assessment data to determine care needs and constraints in meeting these needs.
• Successfully completes system-based and hospital specific competencies.
• Maintains accurate documentation of observations, treatments, teaching, medications, care given, patient response, and integrates into plan of care.
• In collaboration with patients and families (as defined by the patient) the Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating, planning, directing and administering care to the patient. Implements plan of care based upon established standards of care/practice, policies, and procedures, incorporating cultural, religious, psychosocial, physical, and age-related issues.
• Possesses knowledge of medications, and administers safely and accurately.
• Appropriately delegates and supervises routine technical functions to non-licensed and licensed personnel.

Job Requirements

Required

• Graduation from an accredited/approved school of nursing and Minimum two years of experience as an RN in an acute care facility, upon hire and
• For Critical Care areas, two years of Critical Care experience and
• For Telemetry areas, one year of Telemetry and
• Registered Nurse: KY, upon hire and
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 90 Days and
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support, within 6 - months and
• Trauma Nurse Core Course, within 12 - months

Preferred

• Bachelors Of Science Nursing and For Telemetry areas, two years of Telemetry, upon hire

Pay Range

$30.00 - $43.50 /hour
