Job summary

Sheppard Pratt is seeking a Float Registered Nurse to provide coverage across core units in Towson, MD. The role entails floating to multiple units, delivering nursing care per the treatment plan, administering prescribed treatments, and supporting the care team.

Responsibilities include clinical direction to Mental Health Workers and meticulous documentation of patient progress for the treatment team. Must have active Maryland RN license and nursing program graduation.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in Maryland at time of appointment and ongoing.
• Ability to document and communicate patient progress to the treatment team.

Responsibilities

• Float to various core units to provide coverage.
• Perform full range of professional nursing services per treatment plan.
• Administer prescribed medical treatments and provide psychosocial support.
• Provide day-to-day clinical direction to Mental Health Workers.
• Document and report patient progress to the treatment team.
