Job summary

Mercy Clinic Primary Care - Resource Pool seeks qualified medical staff for a part-time role (16 hours per week) floating to various OKC metro clinics. The position welcomes Medical Assistants, LPNs, or EMT/Paramedics and requires readiness to work across multiple sites.

You will prepare patients, perform entry of visit data in Epic, assist with on-site testing, vaccines, and follow-up scheduling while coordinating with the clinical team to ensure consistent care delivery.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Certification: Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience preferred, particularly in a primary care office.
• Active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA) or EMT/Paramedic accepted with BLS within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for visit by entering chief complaint, vital signs, history, allergies, medication reconciliation and care-gap tasks in Epic.
• Assists with in-office testing: blood draws, mental status exams, EKGs, oxygen studies, and point-of-care testing.
• Administers vaccines and injections within scope of practice.
• Schedules follow-up appointments and coordinates care with the team.
