Job summary

Temple Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Fox Chase Cancer Center Float Pool, Per Diem-Tier 1. The RN assesses, implements, and evaluates patient care under physician direction, applying the nursing process and collaborating with families and the care team.

The role requires PA RN license, BLS, and a Bachelor's degree with 2 years of clinical experience preferred. Per diem with rotating shifts at a major cancer center.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2 years experience in area of clinical specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, implements, and evaluates care needed by assigned patients under the direction of the licensed physician.
• Collaborates with the patient, patient’s family member(s)/significant others, professional peers and other members of the health care team to individualize patient care.
• Directs nursing support staff in the provision of patient care according to the standards of nursing practice, administrative and departmental policies and procedures.
• Professional education, training or additional certifications may be required by specialty area.
