Job summary

University Health is seeking aRegistered Nurse for the Lakewood Medical Center Float Pool in Missouri. This full-time position works 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night schedule (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) three days a week, delivering compassionate care to patients with acute, chronic, or terminal illnesses.

You will assess patients, plan and deliver nursing care, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and participate in education and committees.

Qualifications

• Missouri RN license required.
• BCLS certification required.
• BSN preferred but not mandatory in all cases.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients based on diagnosis and care needs.
• Plan, perform, delegate, and evaluate nursing care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in committees, program evaluations, research, and education.
• Mentor nursing students and supervise clinical practice.
• Adhere to Missouri Nurse Practice Act and organizational requirements.
