Job summary

The VIOS Clinic is seeking a Resource Float Medical Surgical/Acute Care Nurse to support inpatient units and adapt to fluctuating patient volumes.

You will assess patients, coordinate care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. Requires 1 year med-surg experience, RN licensure, and BLS certification; certification in Med-Surg within 1 year is expected.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited program is required.
• Current RN licensure in good standing.
• BLS certification required.
• Med/Surg certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide patient care including assessments and care plans.
• Administer medications and document care and patient education.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to support patients.
• Perform patient rounding to monitor conditions and improve satisfaction.
