Job summary

Providence Swedish seeks a Float Pool Medical Assistant to travel among Issaquah, Edmonds, Cherry Hill, First Hill, Ballard and nearby clinics. You’ll support Primary Care, Pediatrics, Specialty Care, and Women’s Health with flexible weekday and weekend shifts, delivering high-quality patient care across settings.

Role requires adaptability, strong communication, and the ability to collaborate with various care teams while maintaining excellent patient experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program with hands-on clinical training.
• Graduate of a registered MA apprenticeship program.
• Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces.
• At least one year of work experience as a medical assistant including vital signs, injections, and medication administration.
• WA Medical Assistant Certification on hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• 6 months - Healthcare experience.
• 6 months - Medical Assistant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide both clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient patient care and clinic operations.
• Adapt to different teams and workflows within fast-paced clinics.
