Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists patients, staff and physicians to maintain a high level of efficiency of operations and customer service while providing quality care to a designated patient population.
• Administers medications safely and accurately per guidelines and written order, with two patient identifiers.
• Verifies patient identity before procedures and prepares patients for examinations or procedures.
• Manages daily departmental tasks including scheduling, front desk coordination and communication with physicians and staff.

Education

Licensed Vocational Nurse (CA Board of Vocational Nursing & Psychiatric Technicians) - REQUIRED

AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - REQUIRED

ACLS Certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - PREFERRED

IV Certification (NPTA Sterile Product Certification) - PREFERRED
