Job summary

Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN) is seeking a Float Physical Therapist to cover multiple Fort Worth area clinics. This per diem/part-time role focuses on outpatient orthopedic care, offering flexible scheduling and a dynamic clinical environment.

You will assess patients, design plans of care, guide exercises, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality rehabilitation and pain relief. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Doctorate or Master’s in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• CPR certification and any state-required certifications.
• Strong clinical skills in orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric PT (preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficient in documentation and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' functional abilities, limitations, and goals.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments and goals, utilizing various therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Implement and administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to improve mobility, strength, flexibility, and function.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about therapy procedures, home exercises, and injury prevention techniques.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Stay updated on advancements in PT techniques and modalities and integrate them into practice.
• Meet needs of patients executing Plan of Care and follow up on noncompliance as needed.
• Be a team player to utilize nonclinical staff to support caseload needs.
• Delegate and use a PTA when applicable.
• Foster a collaborative culture aligned with our service vision.
• Adapt to changes in patient schedules and daily patterns.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards and regulatory requirements.

About The Role

As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and rehabilitation services to patients, helping them regain mobility, manage pain, and improve their quality of life. Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' functional abilities, limitations, and goals.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments and goals, utilizing various therapeutic techniques and modalities.

• Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about therapy procedures, home exercises, and injury prevention techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Stay updated on advancements in physical therapy techniques, technologies, and best practices, integrating them into clinical practice as appropriate.
• Meet the needs of having patients execute Plan of Care and (but not limited) following up with patients if noncompliance occurs.
• Be a team player to utilize nonclinical staff to support needs of the caseload.
• Delegate and use a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) when applicable.

Skills & Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• CPR certification and any other relevant certifications as required by state regulations
• Strong clinical skills with experience in orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric physical therapy (preferred)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Proficient computer skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes
