Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
• 1-3 years phlebotomy experience REQUIRED, including pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for lab testing following established procedures.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and explain procedures to patients clearly.
• Travel between sites and be on time for assigned locations.
• Verify patient demographics and initials post-venipuncture to confirm proper labeling.
• Maintain necessary records and documentation.
• Demonstrate professional conduct and promote a positive image to patients and staff.
