Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to support hospital locations in Seattle and Ballard, WA. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques across all ages, collect specimens, enter data, and ensure accurate specimen handling in a hospital lab setting.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm with alternating weekends. WA Phlebotomy MA-P license is required; 1+ year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Washington State Phlebotomy MA-P license required.
• 1+ year of phlebotomist experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Able to pass standardized color vision test.
• Flexibility to work overtime and strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team and service our hospital locations in Seattle, and Ballard, Washington.

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm, alternating weekends

Job Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• Washington State issued Phlebotomy license (MA-P)

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 or more years of experience as a phlebotomist

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Be at least 21 years old
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment

We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a hospital inpatient laboratory. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

Pay Range

$21.87 to $32.28 per hour

Float Differential

$2.00 per hour plus mileage reimbursement

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience and the terms of the collective bargaining agreement between Dynacare Northwest, Inc. and United Food and Commercial Workers Union, Local 21.
