Job summary

Genoa Healthcare in Florida is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to process prescriptions and deliver outstanding customer service within a coordinated care team. You will help ensure patients receive the right medications and understand their use.

Responsibilities include dispensing drugs, informing customers about medications, and administering immunizations where permitted by state boards, with adherence to pharmacy laws. Candidates must hold a Florida pharmacist license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
• Current pharmacist license in Florida
• Driver's License and access to reliable transportation

• Provides information to customers about medications and their use
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy

We seek aStaffPharmacisttoperform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use

• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $44 - $79 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
