Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Float Per Diem Pharmacy Technician to support clinical and pharmacy operations across multiple Colorado sites. Primary duties include dispensing prescriptions under supervision, clerical tasks, and maintaining inventory while traveling as needed.

This per diem role covers PTO and call-outs during daytime hours (8:30am–5:00pm). Home site listed as Aurora, CO, with potential coverage at Denver and surrounding sites.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado Pharmacy Technician license.
• Ability to use own car to travel to sites when needed.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data to maintain inventory records.
• Assist pharmacist in pharmacy functions and ensure compliance with federal/state requirements.
• Perform clerical duties related to the department.
• Communicate professionally, verbally and in writing.
• Other duties as assigned.

We seek aFloat Per Diem Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

Hours:

This is a Per Diem role where we would ask that you fill in for PTO and call outs during the hours of 8:30am-5:00pm Monday-Friday

Location:

Your home site will be 2675 S Abilene St., Suite 175, Aurora, CO 80014, but you could be asked to cover any of our sites in the following areas: Denver, Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley, Fort Morgan, Boulder, Thornton, Glendale, Aurora, Colorado Springs, Canyon City, Alamosa and Pueblo

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Colorado
• Ability to use your own car to travel to sites when needed
• Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Pharmacy Technician experience andPrescription data entry experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16 to $29 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
