Job summary

VSP Vision is seeking a dedicated Optometrist for a full-time Float role in the Sacramento area. You will provide comprehensive eye care across multiple ECO locations, using advanced diagnostic tools, supported by a collaborative team in a dynamic, patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• OD degree required with current licensure as Optometrist
• 1-3 years of clinical practice experience preferred, new grads welcome
• Strong verbal and written communication skills essential
• Leadership and organizational skills required for team coordination
• Business aptitude and patient service orientation are important
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in job duties

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive eye care to patients in a modern clinic.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic technology (retinal cameras, OCT, visual fields, automated refracting systems).
• Float to multiple locations and cover 40 hours per week.
• Educate patients about ocular health and vision solutions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care
