Qualifications

• One year of nursing assistant experience preferred.
• 2 or more years of nursing assistant experience strongly preferred.
• Current BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Float to assigned unit/s: Med Surg/Tele or ICU.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as feeding, toileting, and hygiene.
• Provide basic nursing care to non-acutely and acutely ill patients.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment.
• Work under the directions of the registered nurse in charge of the unit.
• Answer phones and call lights.
• Ensure unit is stocked with supplies.
• Assist patient transporter as needed.
