OVP Health Care in Ohio seeks a Nurse Practitioner to provide direct patient care across outpatient settings including Huntington, Proctorville, Gallipolis, Ashland and Wheelersburg. The NP will work under the VP of Operations and Operations Manager, ensuring compliance with state scope of practice and clinical standards.

Competenze

• Must possess a Medical License through the State in which they practice.
• Maintain Basic Life Support Card (CPR).
• Maintain Advanced Life Support Card (Optional but Preferred).
• Maintain Pediatrics Advanced Life Support Card (Optional but Preferred).
• Maintain Board Certification.
• Maintain DEA Certification (if applicable).
• Maintain Data 2000 Waiver (30 pts first year; 100 patients thereafter).
• Maintain licensure/certification to practice medicine per state guidelines.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the rationale of appropriate patient care.
• Demonstrate the ability to maintain good inter-personal relationships with co-workers and health team members.
• Communicates through appropriate channels.
• Demonstrate ability to calculate drug dosages.
• Demonstrate ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
• Document continuing education per licensure and certification requirements and clinic protocols.
