Job summary
Planned Parenthood Los Angeles is seeking full-time Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, or Certified Nurse Midwives to serve patients at our Burbank Health Center, with regional coverage across LA County.
The ideal candidate will hold California license as CNM/NP/PA, have BLS/ACLS, and a Master’s degree, with strong customer service and teamwork. Flexible hours including Saturdays and on-call duties are required.
Qualifications
- Valid and current California license as CNM, NP, or PA.
- Current furnishing license for NP.
- BLS & ACLS certification from American Heart Association.
- Master’s/Graduate degree.
- National Board Certification.
- NPI number.
- Medi-Cal Provider application completed.
- DEA license preferred.
- Ability to travel within Los Angeles County.
Responsibilities
- Provide examinations, diagnosis, treatment, education and counseling.
- Perform pelvic, breast, and genital exams; cancer screening; STI treatment.
- Maintain patient flow with minimum productivity expectations.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies as indicated.
- Collaborate with staff and serve as medical resource for others.
