HealthSource of Ohio is seeking a Float Medical Assistant with neurology experience preferred. This full-time role supports patients across Loveland and other offices in the region, providing direct patient care and administrative duties. Qualifications include completion of an MA program, high school diploma or equivalent, and BLS.

CMA certification is preferred, with 3-5 years of relevant experience in neurology. Will​ingness to travel to Mt.

Qualifications

• Completion of a MA education program is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical Assistant certification is preferred.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience is required.
• Neurology experience is preferred.
• Active BLS is required.
• Willing to travel to different offices (Mt. Orab, Wilmington, Washington Court House and Loveland are primary locations).

Responsibilities

• Intake patients who may have mobility limitations or cognitive concerns.
• Review and reconcile medications commonly used in neurology.
• Prepare patients for testing or procedures.
• Assist providers with procedures and treatments within scope (injections, medication administration, etc.).
• Prepare and maintain clean exam rooms with full supplies.
• Monitor providers' Inbox and PAQ; return calls per SOP.
• Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and scheduling.

• Monitors providers In Box and PAQ. Returns calls as directed by Clinician following SOP.
• Coordinates referrals, prior authorizations, and scheduling
