Providence is seeking a Medical Assistant II to float among Southern LA County clinics including Santa Monica, Hawthorne and Redondo Beach. You will support patient care with clinical duties across sites while maintaining high standards of service and safety.

Your role involves applying your MA skills under supervision and adapting to a variety of clinical settings to help keep care running smoothly for patients and teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants.
• Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program.
• Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces.
• Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes vital signs, injections, and medication administration.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 6 months Healthcare experience.
• 6 months Medical Assistant experience.

Responsibilities

• Float and provide MA support across Providence clinics in Southern LA County as directed.
• Perform MA II duties under delegation of a licensed practitioner to assist in patient care.
• Maintain policy-driven clinical procedures and ensure smooth patient flow.
