Job summary

Actalent Healthcare in Irving, TX is seeking a Float Medical Assistant for a fast-paced specialty group in West Dallas/Fort Worth. You will float between clinics, perform back-office duties, take vital signs, document in EMR, and assist providers.

The schedule is Mon-Fri, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM, with benefits and strong growth opportunities. Salary ranges up to $23+/hour based on experience, with full benefits including 401(k).

Qualifications

• 2+ years of back office clinical experience.
• Confident handling back office duties in a fast-paced setting.
• Prior experience floating with several providers is preferred.
• MA certification not required but preferred.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

• Back office duties in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Floating to various clinics with the same group on a weekly basis
• Vital signs
• Charting in EMR system
• Exam & procedure prep
• Some front office duties - check in/check out & appointment scheduling
• Assisting the provider as needed

Schedule:

Monday to Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM. No weekends!!!!

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Irving, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
