Vancouver Clinic seeks a part-time Float LPN for its Urgent Care team in Vancouver, WA. The role requires an accredited nursing program graduate and current WA LPN license, with BLS CPR certification. The successful candidate will room patients, perform vitals, manage in-basket tasks, and assist with various procedures.

Flexibility and strong communication are essential. Shifts can be early or late with weekend coverage; compensation includes a competitive hourly rate and access to Vancouver

Qualifications

• Current Washington State LPN license in good standing.

• Ability to interact effectively with patients and physicians in pressure situations while maintaining tact and diplomacy.
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, take manual vitals, operate BP machine, collect data and report to EHR.
• Work the MA in-basket for prescription requests.
• Perform clinical skills such as IV, urinary catheters, ear lavage, EKG, sterile setup, injections, immunizations, point-of-care testing, swabbing, phlebotomy.
• Work independently and as part of a team; wear mask as required.

## Float LPN with Urgent CareApply: Vancouver, WA: Part time: Posted 2 Days Ago: REQ0014947# **Join the Urgent Care team as a** *part-time* **Float LPN!****Hiring range** is generally between **$28.00-$33.55/hour** and placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience**Available Differentials:** *Float* *($3.00/hour)* *Evening, after 5:30p* ($3.08/hour), *Saturday / Sunday* ($2.62/hour)**Varied Schedule & Location Float Schedule (20 hours/week):** Shifts can start as early as 6:30a and end as late as 11:30p and requires (minimum) two weekend shifts per month (schedules sent out 30 days in advance). *Float requires flexibility and adaptability and does not have a fixed schedule or work location.* Schedule posted 30 days in advance**Responsibilities include**:* Rooming patients with the need to take manual vitals and operate an automated BP machine, collect data and report to the EHR, work the MA in-basket for prescription requests.* Ability to perform clinical skills such as IV, urinary catheters, ear lavage, EKG, sterile set up, injections, immunizations, point-of-care testing, swabbing, phlebotomy.* Must work independently and as a team member and be able to wear a mask all day, including an N95 in cases where protocol directs.* Need strong interpersonal skills to receive and make phone calls to other departments, patients and peers.* Critical thinking skills to use resources and follow protocols and policies and strong time management skills to prioritize workflow.**Requirements:*** Graduate of accredited school of nursing.* Current Washington State LPN license in good standing.* Excellent written and oral communication skills.* Ability to interact effectively with patients and physicians in pressure situations while maintaining tact and diplomacy.* Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification.* Must have reliable and predictable attendance.Vancouver Clinic provides care across a wide range of medical decisions.
