Job summary

Mindpath Health is seeking a Float Interventional Psychiatry Technician to deliver TMS and esketamine treatments at our San Diego Innovation and Hotel Circle offices. This full-time role supports a 40-hour week, Monday–Friday, delivering patient-centered care and coordinating care to ensure safe, effective treatment.

Responsibilities include administering treatments per physician protocols, monitoring responses, documenting in the EHR, and collaborating with clinicians.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of direct patient care experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience working with patients experiencing anxiety and depression.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Life Sciences, Psychological Sciences, or a related field.
  • EMR experience preferred (NextGen/AdvancedMD a plus).
  • TMS Certification; training provided within the first 90 days if not already certified.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

  • Collaborate with clinicians and staff to ensure seamless, coordinated patient support.
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with HIPAA and clinical standards.
  • Recognize and respond to mental health crises using de-escalation techniques and emergency protocols.
  • Support quality assurance efforts and report deviations from clinical or safety standards.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of clinical equipment and coordinate technical support as needed.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and special projects as assigned.

The Float Interventional Psychiatry Technician delivers Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and esketamine treatments to patients in a supportive, clinical environment. This role combines hands‑on patient care, clinical support, and care coordination to ensure safe, effective treatment and a positive patient experience. The Technician administers treatments per physician protocols, monitors patient responses, documents care, and collaborates with the care team to support each patient’s treatment journey.

This role is full-time (40 hours/week, Monday–Friday) onsite supporting our San Diego Innovation and Hotel Circle offices.

Compensation
The pay rate for this position is $23 per hour.
