Morrison Healthcare is hiring a Float Dietitian to provide acute-care Medical Nutrition Therapy and nutrition education across Ballad Health System facilities in Johnson City, Tennessee.

As part of a clinical team, you will conduct assessments, create individualized care plans, mentor staff, and support community education while collaborating with food service management to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide nutrition guidance to patients, families, staff, and the community.
• Apply the latest research and diet manuals in evidence‑based practice.
• Participate in Quality and Performance Improvement initiatives (QAPI).
• Collaborate with food service management to support patient satisfaction and service goals.
• Mentor staff and dietetic interns through education and training.

Morrison Healthcare employs a Float Dietitian in Johnson City, TN to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and nutrition education across multiple facilities within the Ballad Health System.

Location

Ballad Health System – Johnson City, TN

Schedule

Monday to Friday, no weekend shifts.

Requirement

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Valid Tennessee Dietitian licensure

Position Details

As a multi‑site dietitian, you will support patients in diverse care environments, offering evidence‑based nutrition care and education to patients, families, staff, and the community.

Compensation

• Salary: $60,000 – $70,000
• Mileage reimbursement
