Qualifications
Must have a basic understanding of anatomy and physiology.
Familiarity with CT equipment safety hazards is necessary.
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with staff and patients.
Position patients on examining table and adjust devices.
Process CT digital images and ensure diagnostic quality.
Follow ALARA program and radiation protection techniques.
Skills
Knowledge & skill performing CT procedures and protocols
Skill in positioning patients properly
Ability to communicate clearly
Skill in performing quality exams
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Graduate of a 2-year radiologic technology program from an accredited school
Current Florida State License (CRT)
ARRT registry and CT registry
Basic Life Support BLS
