Job summary

American Health Imaging seeks a Full-Time Float CT Technologist to join our team. The role offers a consistent Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM schedule and travel to multiple sites including Sandy Springs.

Responsibilities include operating CT scanners, administering contrast per protocol, and maintaining safety and patient records. A 24-month AMA-approved Radiology Tech program, ARRT CT certification, and state licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of 24-month AMA-approved School of Radiology Technology.
• 12 months previous experience in diagnostic radiology or other imaging modality.
• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography.
• Applicable State Licensure, where required.
• IV credentialed if applicable.
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT scanners and related equipment to produce cross-section images for diagnosis.
• Positions patients using immobilization and protective equipment to ensure safety and compliance.
• Screens patients for CT safety prior to procedures.
• Administers contrast media as directed and per protocol.
• Evaluates CT scans for technical quality and labels images accurately.
• Loads and operates power injectors for contrast media administration.
• Maintains patient records and adheres to safety measures.

**$20,000 Sign-on Bonus being offered**

American Health Imaging is seeking a Full-Time Float CT Technologist to join our team. This position offers a consistent schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, providing excellent work-life balance.

Float locations include: Decatur, Buckhead, Lawrenceville, Sandy Springs, Gainesville, Athens, Marietta, and Johns Creek but could vary depending on where candidate lives.

**Mileage reimbursement will be provided for travel to any locations outside of your designated home base**

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates the company’s values in daily activities
• Performs complex tasks associated with the operation of CT scanners and related equipment to produce cross-section images of patients’ internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues
• Positions patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment to comply with government regulations and to ensure the safety of patients and staff
• Screens patients for CT safety prior to procedure performance
• Starts I.V.’s, administers contrast media as directed and per protocol
• Evaluates CT scans for technical quality, collates processed images and sequence of exposure and labels appropriately
• Loads and operates power injectors for contrast media administration
• Applies the profession's code of ethics in all aspects of practice
• Maintains knowledge of, observes, and enforces the safety measures in the Environment of Care
• Maintains accurate patient records.
• Assists in other modalities as requested and as allowed by licensure/certification
