Job summary

Textron Systems seeks a Structural Engineering Analyst to perform static and dynamic analyses of flight vehicles within the Strategic Missiles Business Line. The role requires strong CAD/FEA proficiency (Siemens NX, Ansys, MATLAB) and the ability to compile findings into formal reports and presentations.

The candidate will document analysis methodologies, communicate results clearly, and collaborate across teams while potentially traveling up to 25% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering or related field; Level II with 2+ years' experience.
• Level III with 5+ years' experience in structural analysis and design.
• Experience with COTS structural tools Siemens NX, Ansys, MATLAB and willingness to learn Textron software.
• Proficiency with Word/Excel/PowerPoint to document methodologies and results.

Responsibilities

• Perform static and dynamic structural analyses of flight vehicles.
• Use CAD/FEA tools to generate structural characteristics and responses.
• Summarize results in presentations and design analysis reports.
• Travel up to 25% may be required.
