Job summary

Icarus is looking for a Flight Test Engineer to ensure efficient flight operations and data analysis at high altitudes. The ideal candidate should possess a degree in aerospace or related fields, with experience in flight testing and data processing skills. This position offers a competitive salary of $125,000 - $185,000 USD, along with incredible equity opportunities.

You will take ownership of the testing process, leading efforts to scrutinize the performance of our innovative solar-powered aircraft at 60,000 ft. Join our small, high-trust team where engineering matters above all else.

Qualifications

• Experience in flight test, developmental test, or evaluation.
• Calm, decisive judgment under pressure.
• Willingness to travel to remote test sites.

Responsibilities

• Design flight test campaigns and pass/fail criteria.
• Oversee execution of test cards during test events.
• Analyze flight data for performance evaluation.
• Continuously improve flight test tools and processes.
