Job summary

Canvas II, LLC. is seeking a flight/test engineer to develop objectives, procedures, and data collection for aircraft test programs at Nellis AFB. You will coordinate with ranges, instrumentation, and airspace resources to ensure successful execution of test missions.

The role requires evaluating system performance, planning tests, and delivering reports. Active Secret clearance and US citizenship are required, with a Bachelor’s or Master’s in engineering.

Qualifications

• Experience in test development and data analysis for aircraft, weapons, avionics, or mission systems.
• Familiarity with Air Force test processes, airspace and range coordination, and multidisciplinary test teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop test objectives, methods, detailed procedures, test cards, and data collection requirements.
• Assess system operability, integration, performance, and recommend improvements or redesigns when appropriate.
• Participate in test planning meetings, briefings, and reviews; prepare materials, schedules, and status updates.
• Assist in planning, monitoring, and executing ground and flight test activities; collect, analyze, and validate data; support final reports.
• Coordinate with Nellis AFB personnel to ensure efficient scheduling, deconfliction of resources, and successful test missions.
