Job summary

Analytical Mechanics Associates (AMA) seeks an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to support NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, VA. You will design, develop, and integrate electronic systems across a full lifecycle—from concept through testing and manufacturing—collaborating with scientists, project managers, and engineers for flight missions.

The role requires a U.S. Citizenship, a 3+ year track record in electronic design, and proficiency with Altium Designer and PSPICE.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in electronic design and development.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic circuits including power systems, amplifiers, DACS, high-speed digital, and mixed-signal designs.
• Integrate cameras, lasers, data storage, computational systems, and science instrumentation into designs.
• Modify designs to meet mission requirements for computational camera systems.
• Collaborate with vendors for PCB fabrication and perform board population as needed.
• Prepare detailed schematics, BOMs, and test procedures; ensure manufacturing readiness.
