Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, is hiring a Software Test Engineer to join the Flight Software Team. You will analyze requirements, design test plans, write test cases and oversee test strategies for satellite software, including testing on real hardware and in emulation.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field, 2+ years of software testing experience, and hands-on skills with Python, C/C++, Git/GitLab, and CI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of software testing experience.
• Experience in writing test documents (test plans/procedures, SQA plans).
• Experience writing automated tests.
• Experience with Python, C and or C++.
• Experience with Git and GitLab.
• Experience with continuous integration.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience in designing functional and non-functional test cases that verify requirements and validate functionality.
• Experienced in test result evaluation, reporting and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans and write test cases.
• Write and run test scripts.
• Debug software and tests, both on real hardware and in an emulated environment.
• Analyze test results to verify functionality and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage the GitLab CI to automatically run tests.
• Other duties as assigned.
