NWU seeks a student intern to work with the engineering team on software design, writing, and testing. The role covers embedded software for satellites and accompanying ground control and testing tools.

You will gain hands-on experience developing with C/C++ and scripting languages while modeling the full software lifecycle. Applicants should be pursuing a relevant BS degree and demonstrate the ability to design, write, and test software from scratch.

Competenze

• Currently pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or an equivalent technical degree.
• Experience with C/C++ and scripting languages.
• Demonstrated ability to personally design, write, and test software from scratch.

Your Role

About You

The company is looking for candidates who meet the following:

• Currently pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or an equivalent technical degree.
• Experience with C/C++ and scripting languages.
• Demonstrated ability to personally design, write, and test software from scratch.

Bonus qualifications include:

• Experience with embedded systems running on bare metal.
• Experience with real-time operating systems.
• Experience with FPGA or DSP programming.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base pay of $29.00 per hour.
