Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years work experience.
• Experience near hardware and debugging in integrated environments.
• Experience with real-time or safety-critical software.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to work independently in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Bring-up, integration, and checkout of GNC and flight automation software on test aircraft.
• Develop, review, and execute flight test cards for GNC performance, stability, guidance accuracy, and autonomy validation.
• Triage flight test squawks and drive root-cause investigations with discipline engineers.
• Support flight readiness reviews, test readiness reviews, and configuration management processes.
• Develop and maintain test frameworks and processes for software and systems.
• Develop automated testing frameworks and simulation tools to validate flight automation behaviors.
• Contribute to flight controls and mission management software development (C++) as needed.
• Develop Python tools for pre-flight prediction, real-time monitoring, and post-flight evaluation.
• Correlate sim predictions with flight data and identify model improvements.
• Develop, debug, integrate, and optimize embedded software across hardware and software boundaries.
